Shine
Jason Chu
Shine is the third studio record by my band Locus, released November 14th, 2009, and executive-produced by band member Kelvin Chu.
Shine contains five tracks, four of which contain new material. The remaining track is a b-side, a piano version of 向日葵 ("Sunflower"), which was originally considered for inclusion on our previous full-length release, Ambrosia (the Sky Syndication edit of the song was chosen instead due to the piano version being too similar to another cut on the Ambrosia album).
Three gushes of confetti-like stuff landed on a sea of sweaty hair. Instead of growling, they screamed and cried. Such was the emotion of teenage fans at the concert of the Jonas Brother in the movie, Jonas Brothers The Concert Experience.
In the music industry, it is totally unheard of for two totally divergent genres such as Christian music and gay music to come together. A song is either Christian or something that appeals to the gay community; they are fully exclusive of each other. But with the music of Jason and deMarco, the lines between Christian music and gay music have become blurred.
