As the Holidays move irrevocably closer and closer into our awareness, we find ourselves possessed by the spirit of giving and the spreading of holiday cheer. And yet that same spirit fails to move beyond the material world and enter into our bedrooms (or for some people - kitchens, living rooms, parked vehicles, public restrooms, etc.). Has the Holiday Season become so engrossed in commercialized frenzy and big business product-pushing that we've lost a foothold on some of the more simple pleasures of life? Or is there still a possibility that the term ‘oral fixation' can be brought to a whole new meaning in exchange for less "jingle" bells and whistles?
